Q: Do I have to pay HOME HERO (HH) Services for their claims assistance?

Q: Should I call my insurance company before I call a roofing company?

A: Not necessarily. We can help make the process easier. If you call us, we can come
out and assess the potential damage before you file a claim. Our team of roofing
experts will be happy to meet the insurance adjuster while he or she assesses damages.
Our goal is to assist at every step – from claim filing to the “findings” process. A claim
should be filed for the correct “cause of loss.” This can be important. Please give us a
call before filing a claim so we can help get you started.

Q: Do I get the depreciation back?

A: Usually Yes, and it helps pay for your new roof. The recoverable depreciation is
usually held back on a residential policy claim. Many homeowners miss out on
thousands of dollars because the recoverable depreciation is not explained to them.
Once we complete our work, we provide documents necessary to get depreciation
applied to cover part of the cost of your new roofing system. There are many more
details which may vary from one insurance company to the next. Give us a call and we
will walk you through this process.

Q: What if HOME HERO (HH) Services quote is higher than the insurance company

A: Great question! This doesn’t usually happen, but in the rare case that it does, we
guarantee to install your roof per the insurance company specifications and pricing. In
many cases HOME HERO (HH) Services will give you a free upgrade on the underlayment
and the shingle style -- from 3 tab to architectural.
